Spread over five floors, Grassmarket Hotel’s 42 rooms are designed to be the perfect city break bolthole, with plenty of little Scottish twists to make your stay one you won’t forget.
Whether you need a single, double, twin or triple, we have the room to suit you. There’s even the Quad, supersized room that is perfect for groups and families!
Please kindly note that Grassmarket Hotel is housed within a listed building of historical significance and therefore our mindful modernisations mean, while we have lifts, you may also have to climb a very short handful of stairs to reach your room!

The Basics
For just £15 per person join us for breakfast next door at the most popular Irish pub in Edinburgh, Biddy Mulligans (who, BTW, also play live music from 8pm every night!)
Breakfast includes unlimited continental buffet (plus bottomless coffee & juice) and one selection from our hot food menu. Breakfast must be pre-booked with reception the day before to enjoy our unlimited continental. Breakfast is served from 8am – 11.30am daily.
Check-in time is from 15:00 and an early arrival can be guaranteed at 14:00 for an extra £10
Check out time is 11:00 and a late check out can be booked for an extra £10 per hour up until 1pm.
Please make sure your room door is closed fully when entering or leaving.
Smoking is an absolute no go at this hotel, if you wish to remain our friend, you will observe this rule.
